Properties For Sale in Cyprus – The first official presentation of the Limassol Marina took place on the 5th July, in an impressive and unique setting at the Amathus Beach Hotel in Limassol. The event marked the commencement of construction of the project and the beginning of sales of the first residential units.
The Minister of Commerce, Industry and Tourism Mr. Antonis Paschalides spoke at the presentation, stating that:
“Today marks the beginning of a new era for Cyprus tourism and the successful cooperation between the state and private sectors”.
Mr. Paschalides also added that “the Marina works are expected to be completed by Autumn 2012. The success of this project is a given, with manifold benefits for Cyprus and its tourism as a whole. This government is developing and delivering projects to the island.” In his closing statement, Mr. Paschalides thanked all those who contributed to the fruition of the government’s objectives.
Mr. Marios E. Lanitis, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Limassol Marina Ltd, also spoke:
“The Limassol Marina project is without a doubt the biggest investment made in Cyprus, at a total estimated cost of €350m.”
Addressing the Minister of Commerce, Industry and Tourism, Mr. Lanitis added: “We Cypriot businessmen have a vision for an improved Cyprus, which is why we invest in our country.”
Mr. Takis Palekythritis, Limassol Marina’s General Manager, then presented the project and announced that sales of the Nereids Residences have begun. In his speech, Mr. Palekythritis stated:
“The Nereids Residences do not simply offer luxury aparments with uninterrupted sea and Marina views, but the opportunity to experience a new way of life – Living on the Sea”.
